I'm sure we all have that item in our wardrobe which when we put on our bodies Ke$ha lyrics "wake up in the morning feeling like P-diddy" starts to suddenly transform from mindless jargon to applicable mindless jargon.

I FEEL LIKE P-DIDDY&LUCY LIU'S LOVE CHILD.

I got this kimono thing in the charity shop and it was a good buy but I wasn’t excited about it at first. It was one of those ‘ah screw it, I’ll buy it cause its cheap af’ buys. Then I put it on... *Carlton dance* it’s so snazzy!

Alsoso (random OITNB reference) I recently I got ma weave done *yaaaas interlude*. Due to the fact I’m trying to hide my hair because I’m transitioning from my relaxed hair to natural, I decided to do a full headed front fringe weave, cause my hur is a mess right now- no joke! The two textures are super hard to maintain, it's actually puke worthy, it's a real concern of mine that a bird will mistake my hot mess of a hair for its newly refurbished home (it didn't even have to go to Ikea...). But good things come to those who wait!

I’m really glad that more and more black girls/women are embracing their natural hair, it really does display progressive acceptance of culture and heritage and most importantly CONFIDENCE! Which I think is beautiful. I may do a post solely on hair journey and stuff soon J
